REDUCE THE MAINTENCANCE COSTS
Clean engine components - turbines, injectors, rings, collectors - resulting in reduction of failures, prolonged periods between maintenance and savings on spare parts. Average increase in lifespan of injector nozzles and fuel pumps ranges from 150% to 200%. Lifespan of fuel filters may be increased several times, especially on cold waters.
CLEAN FUEL TANKS
MAREM neutralizes and controls the formation of sludge in fuel tanks, which eliminates formation of new sludge and gradually dissolves organic, burnable content of old one. MAREM is a water dispersant agent, which prevents water line formation. In effect there is no room for bacteria growth in the tank and combined with solvent capacity, MAREM completely restrains paraffins stratification in cold waters.
EMISSION REDUCTION
Use of MAREM results in substantial reduction of emission, especially carbon particles (PM), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx). Customers may profit from emission tax reduction in controlled areas and use environmentally friendly attitude to build company’s goodwill. Finally, soot accumulating on deck and superstructure will be minimized.
Our products performance is periodically assessed by renowned institutions, including DNV, MARINTEK, Fueltech, BV. Our catalyst has also been approved by Wartsila engine manufacturer, for use with two- and four-stroke engines.
